QuickClip -- Usage
Purpose
- Use QuickClip to share text between devices.
Usage Overview
- Open a clipboard on one device.
- Paste text into the clipboard from that device.
- Open the same clipboard on another device.
- Copy out of the clipboard from the second device.
Opening Clipboards
- Navigate to a clipboard by entering its name in the box below and clicking the "Go To Clipboard" button.
- Clipboard names are case sensitive.
- Only alphanumeric characters, '-', and '_' are usable in clipboard names.
- Clipboard names are a maximum of 64 characters long.
Using Clipboards
- Paste text into the text box and click the "Replace Clipboard Text" button to put new text into that clipboard.
- Click the "Replace Clipboard Text" button while the text box is empty to clear that clipboard.
- Click the "Copy Clipboard Text" button to select the current clipboard text and copy it to the local clipboard on your device.
Efficiency Tips
- You can navigate directly to a clipboard once you know its URL.
- You can bookmark the same clipboard on multiple devices for convenience.
